South Indian famous Beans curry recipe, Spicy version of Beans recipe made with coconut.

  • 250g beans/grean beans
  • 1 medium size onion
  • ⅓ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 inch cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 tbsp coconut
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • ½ cup water
  • salt as needed
  1. Clean the beans and cut it into medium-sized pieces, not small pieces which we cut for poriyal. Chop the onions finely. Heat a pan and add cinnamon stick and cloves.
  2. Add the chopped onions and beans saute well.
  3. Add the turmeric powder, chili powder and salt, saute well.
  4. Grind the coconut with fennel seeds.
  5. add little water grind to a smooth paste.
  6. Add the ground mix with the beans and add little water mix well. Let it cook. Once it becomes dry switch off the stove and transfers the beans fry into a serving bowl. Beans fry, beans curry is ready to taste.
