Bisibelabath RECIPE IN TAMIL VIDEO:
Bisi Bele Bath RECIPE IN PRESSURE COOKER, MTR Bisi Bele Bhath RECIPE:
- To Pressure Cook:
- 1 cup of rice
- ½ cup Toor dal
- 3 and ½ cup water
- 2 tsp salt
- vegetable carrot, beans,
- FOR TEMPERING:
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 dried red chili
- 10 cashew nuts or peanuts
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp MTR Bise bele masala powder
- 1 cup tamarind extract
- 1 medium-sized onion
- 1 medium-sized tomato
- 1 tbsp ghee / clarified butter
- Boondi for garnishing
- firstly, cook Dal and rice with vegetables, and 1 tsp salt.
- Prepare the tempering, heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, cashew nuts, dry red chili, fry well.
- add onion, tomato, fry well.
- add the tamarind extract and mix well
- Add the turmeric powder, bise bele bath powder and mix well.
- let it cook for few minutes or till the raw smell goes off.
- Add the tempering with dal rice mixture and mix well
- add a tbsp ghee and mix well
- finally, serve with Boondi.
2. For the spice powder, I used MTR masala, you can also add Goda masala.
3.If you want you can add dry coconut powder while grinding and dry red chilies for extra spicy.
