April 4, 2015 by Premalatha Aravindhan 4 Comments

Manga Pachadi Recipe

Mango  Pachadi, a unique dish of  different tastes, from sweet to bitter. It is prepared during Tamil  New year (puthandu) 2015, which is also the first dish to be eaten on this occasion. The festival feast is incomplete without the simple Manga pachadi. To reduce the cooking time and grating work this recipe will help you make the pachadi in a simple way, which i always prefer. The jammy look of pachadi show the perfect consistency . If it is too running or watery the pachadi is not perfect i will say.

The traditional Manga Pachadi can be made of neem flowers which i have posted earlier. In traditional mango pachadi recipe people use jaggery, chilli, salt, neem flower and unripe mango, the dish signifies life is a mixture of different emotions,  we want to treat it equally.
