Simple Eggless Chocolate Banana Cake with Frosting

Hi guys, thank you so much for sticking with me while I was on my blogging break for a bit.There are more personal things which I got struck with thus couldn’t able to blog regularly.Thanks for all your support as always.

I am excited to be back.On my today’s post,it is a super moist chocolate banana cake which has been sleeping in draft almost a year.Fresh fruits is especially good for making a moist cake mixture.Here is the recipe.



Simple Eggless Chocolate Banana Cake with chocolate Frosting

Tin Size: 9”cake tin Temp: 180 degree Celsius

Ingredients:
1 cup plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 and 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp curd
2 tbsp sunflower oil
2 large ripe bananas

Ganache:
100g Cooking Chocolate
10g Butter
10g Fresh cream


For Decoration:
100 whipping cream+Chocolate Ganache.
100g Almonds,sliced


Method:

  • Pre heat the oven and grease the cake tin.

Chocolate banana cake

  • Sift the dry ingredients like plain flour,baking powder,baking soda and cocoa powder into a mixing bowl.Stir in the brown sugar.
  • Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the oil,curd,milk and mix well.If the mix is too thick add little more milk and mix well.
  • Mash the bananas thoroughly and stir them into the mixture until it thoroughly combined.

Chocolate banana cake

  • Transfer the cake mix into the prepared tin and bake for 30-35 min at 180 degree Celsius.
  • Remove from the tin and turn on to a wire rack to cool.

Chocolate banana cake

  • Do check here how to make the ganache and proceed with the step.
  • Beat the whipping cream and mix with the ganache,spread all over the cake.
  • Decorate the sides with the sliced almonds.Here is the chocolate banana cake is ready to serve.

My Notes:

  • This cake is moist enough to eat without the icing if you want to cut down on the calories.
