Maa Vilakku Recipe | How to make Maa Vilakku |Puratassi Sani Recipes

Maa Vilakku
maavilakku recipe,today is Puratassi Sani (1st satarday of Puratassi Month).We will light Maa Vilakku on Puratassi Satardays.It may be on 1st or 3rd or 5th Satarday.We will make maa vilakku and offer to god as neivediyam.
Let me share how to make Maa Vilakku here,

Maa Vilakku Recipe | Puratassi Sani Recipes

Ingredients:Maa Vilakku

1 cup Rice Flour
3/4 cup Jaggery
3-4 Cardamom
1 tsp Butter

Method: Maa Vilakku

  • Powdered the Jaggery with cardamom and keep aside.

Maa Vilakku

  • In  a plate add in the rice flour,powdered cardamom and jaggery ,mix well.

Maa Vilakku

  • Leave it for a while so that the jaggery leaves little water.If you press the flour on your hand can be able to press.
  • Add the butter and knead the flour.

Maa Vilakku

  • Roll it like a ball and press a whole in the centre .We can add the ghee in the middle.Put light and keep it as neivedyam for God.
