Bee Hoon(Rice Vermicelli)

Ingredients:

100g dried rice vermicelli
1/3 cup chopped cabbage
2 garlic cloves
1 chopped red chilli
1/2 tsp chilli paste
1 tbsp oil
1 onion cut in thick slices
1 tsp soya sauce
½ cup bean sprout
½ cup chopped lettuce
1 lemon cut into four parts(optional)

Method:

Soak the bee hoon in hot water for 5 mins,rinse and drain it.Heat the oil and fry the onion,chilli garlic,cabbage,lettuce with chilli paste.Add the softened and drained noodles and swirl continuously so that the noodles become coated with the chilli paste.Add the sauce and salt. Continue cooking for up to 4 minutes.Add the bean sprouts and cook for 1-2 minutes more.If u feel spicy can squeeze bit lemon juice over it.Bee hoon is ready to serve now.
