Oats Uthappam recipe without rice flour

  • 1 cup oats
  • ⅓ cup Semolina(Rava/sooji)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • water(to adjust the consistency)
  1. Take 1 cup oats & powder it.
  2. Add it to a mixing bowl
  3. Add ⅓ cup semolina, salt & buttermilk, mix well.
  4. Once mixed the batter will be thick, rest it for 30 mins so that the uthappam will be soft.
  5. After 30 mins, add ⅓ cup water and mix well. make it like idli batter consistencyHeat a Tawa, spread a ladle of batter, little thick & add the topping, cover & cook for a min.
  6. once the sides are golden flip the other side & cook it.
  7. Once cooked remove from Tawa. Uthappam is ready to serve
We can make instantly but if you want soft uthappam wait for 30 mins and then make it.
