Aloo Tamatar Sabzi Recipe in Cooker.

  • 250 g potatoes(Aloo), Peeled Diced
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • 1 cup Tomato Puree or 3 tomatoes finely chopped
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ cup water(optional)
  • 1 tsp curd (optional)
  1. Add ghee or oil in pressure cooker. Fry the cumin seeds(jeera), Hing in the oil. Add the diced potatoes and fry well in the oil.
  2. Add the tomato puree(If you are using tomatoes add it before adding the potatoes and fry well.Once it becomes soft and then add the potato and fry it).
  3. Add the spice powders like chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Aloo Tamatar Sabzi Gravy
  5. Add curd if you want your aloo Tamatar sabzi as a gravy or curry form. If you want it to be dry sabzi skip adding Dahi. Add water and pressure cook it for 3 whistles or until it becomes soft. Once done serve it with rice. Aloo Tamatar sabzi goes well with poori.
