Palak Paneer recipe in Dhaba Style.

  • To Grind:
  • 1 bunch fresh palak
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • To make palak Paneer We need:
  • 200g Paneer
  • ¾ cup onion
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Punjabi garam masala
  • 1 tbsp cream or Dahi for garnishing
  1. Blanch the palak with a tsp of sugar so that we can restore the green colour and then add it in cold water to avoid further cooking.
  2. Add the palak in a mixie jar, add ginger, garlic, green chilli and grind it
  3. Heat a pan and temper with cumin seeds, add the chopped onion and tomatoes and fry well, cover and cook till it becomes soft.
  4. Add the salt, Punjabi garam masala and then add the palak paste mix well.
  5. Add the cream or Curd finally serve with roti or with pulao.
