Cauliflower Pepper Fry

Cauliflower Pepper fry, Chettinad special Cauliflower Milagu Varuval, with step-by-step photos and a short video. Cauliflower Pepper fry made with freshly ground homemade Chettinad masala. Chettinad Mushroom Masala recipe is have shared before and this cauliflower pepper masala has a unique flavor because it is made with homemade powder. Anything made with pepper good for cold caught. Pepper kuzhambu is good for health. Milagu rasam, Milagu seeraga Sadam everything is flavor if it is made with Pepper.

Chettinad Cauliflower Milagu Varuval is very familiar in Tamil Homes. This tastes amazing with sambar sadam, rasam sadam. A very simple and easy recipe that you can prepare within 20 mins. If you are feeding the Kid’s then alter the amount of spice for them, as they might find it to be a bit spicy.

Cauliflower Milagu Varuval Ingredients used Guntur chilies which gives more spicy you can use normal chiles too. If you are using Guntur chilies reduce the amount of pepper.

Quick and Easy Cauliflower Pepper fry(Chettinad special Cauliflower Milagu Varuval)

Ingredients
  • Roast and powder
  • 3 dried red chilies
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1.5 tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp fennel seeds
  • other ingredients
  • 300 g cauliflower florets
  • ¼ tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1-inch cinnamon
  • 3 cloves
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • ½ tsp ginger garlic paste
  • curry leaves
  • ½ tsp salt.
Instructions
  1. Dry Roast 3 dried red chilies,1 tbsp coriander seeds,1 tsp cumin seeds,1.5 tsp pepper,1/2 tsp fennel seeds in low flame till you get a nice aroma and powder it.
  2. This powder you can use for mushroom pepper fry, potato, etc.
  3. Take cauliflower florets to add to the boiling water along with ¼ tsp of turmeric powder & ½ tsp salt.
  4. Let it sit for 5 mins and then drain the water.
  5. Now heat a Kadai with 1 tsp oil, add 1-inch cinnamon 3 cloves
  6. Add 2 onions finely chopped and ½ tsp ginger garlic paste saute well.
  7. Add ground masala fry till raw smell goes off.
  8. Add the cauliflower florets, sprinkle some water cover and cook till it becomes soft and dry.
  9. Finally, add some curry leaves toss in high flame for few seconds, and switch off

after adding curry leaves roast in the high flame that gives a nice flavor

Cauliflower Milagu Varuval Step by step Recipe

Take cauliflower florets to add to the boiling water along with 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder & 1/2 tsp salt.
Let it sit for 5 mins and then drain the water.

Add the cauliflower florets, sprinkle some water cover and cook till it becomes soft and dry.
Finally, add some curry leaves toss in high flame for few seconds, and switch off
