Kurkuri Bhindi recipe, crispy spicy okra (baked)

Kurkuri Bhindi recipe, crispy spicy okra (baked) is a crispy and healthy snack. “Kurkuri Bhindi recipe” is very easy and method making Bhindi(okra recipe) I have shared the youtube video making Kurkuri bhindi in this post. It is very useful for beginners who are thinking about what appetizers to make for a party. since it is a baked version, I simply followed the instructions here. And then Proceed with my own version of Bindi masala. Festivals are around the corner, we will invite friends and relatives to our home. This crispy spicy okra recipe is a good choice for the party or any potluck starter menu.

Bhindi

Wash the okra/Bhindi. dry the okra in a towel. Once dried, cut each okra into 4 slices.

Kurkuri Bhindi Recipe

Then add in besan, garam masala, turmeric, chaat masala, and red chili powder. Then add the oil.
Add little water and make a thick paste. Add the sliced okra into the bowl. Toss everything together.
rest the mixture for 10 minutes.

Line a large baking tray with aluminum foil. Then spray the foil nicely with oil.
Then arrange all the coated okra slices on the baking sheet. Bake at 400-degree f for 20 to 30 minutes until brown and crisp.

Transfer to a serving plate, you can squeeze lemon juice or sprinkle some more chaat masala.
Serve Kurkuri bhindi as an appetizer or a side to any dish.

  • 250 grams okra/Vendaikkai/Bhindi, choose long ones
  • 3 tbsp besan/Kadalai Maavu/gram flour
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp turmeric/Manjal Thool
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tsp oil/Ennai
  • salt, to taste
