Easy Paneer Bhurji

paneer bhurji recipe with step by step photos – Easy Paneer recipes always reminds me paneer bhurji. It is the scrambled cottage cheese either you can make it as dry or gravy. If you are looking for easy Indian paneer recipe this would be the better option that you can make it in a jiffy.

Paneer Bhurji, an Indian Vegetarian Recipe – a very tasty, quick and easy dish.We can have it for breakfast or we stuff it in a sandwich, toast and  you can send it in snack box also. It goes well with simple white bread and dosas as well.

For Egg bhurji recipe-If, you do eat egg then you can substitute the Paneer & use 4 eggs instead of the Paneer – to make Scrambled Egg Bhurji (Ande Ki Bhurji).

For tofu Bhurji recipe-Tofu in a healthy, vegan, gluten free you can substitute the paneer & use 350gm scrambled tofu and then follow the below recipe.

lets start step by step paneer bhurji recipe:

Preparation Paneer Bhurjicrumble the paneer/cottage cheese by hand or just a pulse in mixie and keep aside.heat oil or ghee or butter in a pan. add cumin seeds and crackle them. Now add the grated ginger, chopped tomatoes and green chillies fry well.

Make Paneer Bhurji

Add the bell peppers or you can add boiled green peas also at this stage and fry it. Now add in the spice powders like turmeric powder and garam masala, saute it for a while. Finally add the scrambled paneer and saute of 5 mins and remove it from the stove. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with rotis.

paneer bhurji recipe - a combo of onions, tomatoes, spices with cottage cheese and vegetables

Ingredients
  • 350 gm paneer,scrambled
  • 1 medium sized onion,chopped
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 small tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp oil or ghee
  • ½ cup green peas, optional
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • 1 to ½ tsp salt (adjust per taste)
  • 1 tsp ginger chopped
  • 2 Green chillichopped
Instructions

    Any meal i can eat this .. this has always been my fav side dish for chappathi..shd try adding green peas.. yummy
