Cabbage carrot Beans poriyal is also called as Kadhamba curry is nothing but a mix of many vegetables.This poriyal is rich is fibre.This is rich in vitamins.Because of its tempeting colour sure kids love it.This Poriyal is a famous side dish made in Tamil nadu with mix vegetable …It can be made by almost all south indian houses.

Ingredients:Poriyal
100g Beans,chopped
100g carrot,chopped
100g cabbage,chopped
A hand full channa dal
1 tbsp grated coconut
salt,as needed
For Seasoning:
 1 tsp Oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp split urad dal
1 dry red chilli
Method:
Poriyal Recipe

  • Wash and cut the vegetables like carrot,beans and cabbage.Boil the channa dal in a pan,with a cup of water in low flame and allow it to boil till it is cooked but not mushy

Poriyal Recipe

  • Heat oil in a pan and then add mustard seeds in it. When the mustard seeds starts to sputter, add split urad dal ,curry leaves, broken red chilli and fry them till the dal turns golden brown colour. Then add the chopped onion and salt and mix well.
  • Now add in the chopped vegetables and allow it to cook completely. Add cooked dal and mix well. Adjust the salt if needed and keep in low flame for 5 more minutes.

Poriyal Recipe

  • Finally add the grated coconut and mix well.Remove it from the flame.The yummy and delicious Poriyal is ready to serve. We can serve this as a side dish for any kuzhambu varieties. We can even serve this yummy poriyal with steaming hot rice with a spoon of ghee.

Notes:
1. Instead Moong dal we can add toor dal also.
