Coconut chutney is the one which goes well for idly and dosa. Ketti chutney is not too watery as like normal coconut chutney and no tempering is required.This is a wonderful side dish for vadai, paniyaram and all kinds of bondas.Here i used dry red chillies but you can try with green chillies also.Do try this yummy chutney and enjoy.
1 cup freshly grated coconut
3-4 Dry red Chilies(just according to your spice level)
2 tbsp roasted gram (pottu kadalai)
2 small onions,pealed
Salt as needed
Add the grated coconut,dry red chilies roasted gram,onions,salt into a mixie jar and grind it once without adding water first.Then scrap down the top and sides,add in water,grind it into a smooth paste.Don’t add too much water then the chutney become watery.No tempering is required,if you want to add then you can add.
