Peanut Sundal
Today I prepared peanut sundal for naivedyam. It is very easy, tasty, healthy sundal and needs less ingredients to make. It is quite filling and can be had as an evening snacks too. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients:
1 cup Peanut / Verkadalai
2 tbsp grated Coconut
Salt as required

For Tempering:
1 tsp oil
2 dry red chilly
1 sprig Curry leaves
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Urad Dal

A pinch hing

Peanut Sundal

Method:

Peanut Sundal
  • Soak the Peanut in water for about 2-3 hours and then pressure cook it with 3/4 cup water.Just a whistle is enough otherwise it will become too soft.Drain the water completely and keep aside.

Peanut Sundal

  • Heat oil in a kadai and the temper the mustard seeds, dry red chilli and urad dal, once the seeds starts splutter add the curry leaves and hing.
  • Add the cooked peanuts and salt, saute well.
  • Finally add the coconut and saute for few minutes, switch off the stove.

Peanut Sundal

Simple Peanut sundal is ready for Naivedyam.
