Happy New year to all my friends and readers. I’m back after a long break,long break. Couple of months back i won a give way from Priya’s Space.She sent me a cook book called The Sneaky Chef,is a ultimate book,if you ever bake a cake this book will become your partner in the kitchen.Not only for bakes but this book covers more than 40 classic recipes especially for kid’s. Overall,i really like this book.Thank you so much Priya for this wonderful gift.Here is a sample from the book .
Oven Temperature : 180 degree Celsius
Baking Time : 30-35 minutes
Mould Size : 13 by 9 inch or 9 inch square baking pan.
6 tbsp unsalted butter
3/4 cup chocolate chips
2 large eggs
2 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Blueberry Puree
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp wheat flour
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup nuts chopped
Remove from heat and allow mixture to cool a bit.
Meanwhile in another bowl,stir together the eggs,vanilla,sugar and blue berry puree.Mix well.
Combine this purple egg mixture with the cooled chocolate mixture.Stir together flour ,coco powder,oats and salt.Blend thoroughly.
Mix in the chopped nuts.Grease the tin using butter or oil.
Then pour the entire mixture into the baking pan.Bake for 30 – 35 minutes,until a tooth pick comes out clean.Allow to cool completely in pan before cutting the brownies.
Keep for a week in the refrigerator,covered tightly.
Dust on top with powdered sugar or sprinkles,if desired.Do try and enjoy this delicious brownies.
