It’s hard to believe that brownies can be healthy but this recipe contains wholesome ingredients.It is truly fudgy and delicious brownies.
Oven Temperature : 180 degree Celsius
Baking Time : 30-35 minutes
Mould Size : 13 by 9 inch or 9 inch square baking pan.
6 tbsp unsalted butter
3/4 cup chocolate chips
2 large eggs
2 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Blueberry Puree
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp wheat flour
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup nuts chopped
Preheat the oven and melt the butter and chocolate chips together using double boiler or melt bowl over simmering water.If you are doing it in microwave,check every 15 seconds.
Remove from heat and allow mixture to cool a bit.
Meanwhile in another bowl,stir together the eggs,vanilla,sugar and blue berry puree.Mix well.
Combine this purple egg mixture with the cooled chocolate mixture.Stir together flour ,coco powder,oats and salt.Blend thoroughly.
Mix in the chopped nuts.Grease the tin using butter or oil.
Then pour the entire mixture into the baking pan.Bake for 30 – 35 minutes,until a tooth pick comes out clean.Allow to cool completely in pan before cutting the brownies.
Keep for a week in the refrigerator,covered tightly.
Dust on top with powdered sugar or sprinkles,if desired.Do try and enjoy this delicious brownies.
