Green Bean is also used to make this dessert For recipe Pls click Here.Pandan leaves are used to give the flavour,if you don't find pandan leaves then use any essence like rose essence or anything of your choice.
Ingredients:
1 cup Red Bean,rinsed and soaked overnight,drained.
2 and 1/2 tbsp Sago,Soaked for half an hour before cooking
4 cups Water
3 Pandan Leaves,rinsed and knotted.
1/4-1/2 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Coconut Milk
Method:
Wash pandan leaves and tie into a knot.
Soak the Sago in water for 30 minutes before cooking.
Rinse Red beans a few times to get rid of floating particles and bad beans.Soak it for overnight.
Pressure cook the red beans with enough water.Test softness to your liking and cook longer if necessary.
Boil the water and add the sago into it.Once the sago cooked well, add the cooked red bean.
Add Sugar,Coconut milk and Pandan Leaf.Let it cook for few minutes.
Take the leaf out,after few minutes.
Adjust the sweetness to your preference too.Here is our Dessert is ready.
Serve warm or cool.
