Cauliflower Rasam

Ingredients:

100g cauliflower cut into medium pieces
1 cinnamon sticks
2 cardamom
1 chopped onion
2 chopped tomatoes
2 green chillies
1 tsp oil
1 cup thick tamarind juice
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp pepper powder
3 cups water
coriander for garnishing
1 sprig curry leaves
Salt to taste

Method of Preparation:

Heat the oil in a kadai.Add cinnamon stick,cardamom,when they crackle,add the chopped onion,curry leaves,tomatoes,green chilles,garlic and cauliflower.Cover and cook it for 2-3 mins.Once the cauliflower cooked well add the tamarind juice and water.Add cumin powder,pepper powder,salt.Wait until the rasam foams at the top.Remove it from the stove.Garnish it with coriender and serve it with hot rice or as soup.

    oh wow. cauliflower is my fav. Never even thought about making such a wonderful rasam with it. Thanks for sharing it dear. I loved the halwa that u gave. I have become an addict now. I was really yummy.When are u going to post it?
